This new performance series helmet headset from J&M has been designed to be installed into the new Vega Summit 3.0 helmet. It features our high-output AeroMike® III miniature boom microphone, (tuned for use with all factory installed motorcycle audio systems) two wide-fidelity miniature helmet speakers in stereo (sized specifically to fit the speaker depressions built into these new Vega helmets), J&M's exclusive integrated headset mounting system and the upper section (only) of the P-series 8-pin right-angle hook-up cord.

(Valentine remote head not needed). Headset volume of the radar beeb/brap signal is adjusted with the small screw on the harness adapter.

Fits 1998 & later Harley Ultra. This component terminal will integrate the audio signals from a cell phone, GPS and/or radar detector with the driver's (only) helmet headset. If the cell phone normally rings out of its hands-free headset jack, or emits any other beeps or tones, it will momentarily be heard in the left headset speaker. A flip of the supplied control switch activates complete connection of the driver's headset to the cell phone for complete hands-free operation. If the radar detector or GPS unit emit any commands, beeps or braps, regardless of what else might be being heard in the headset, they will momentarily be heard in the right speaker.

Heavy-duty Z-series HCZAL 8-pin Upper right-angle headset hook-up cord OR older style Z" 5-Pin HCA Upper Cord for those with older headsets. Newer Style HCZAL is used as a replacement for the 8-pin upper-section hook-up cord that is included with all J&M® Elite Series headset #’s HS-ECD584, HS-ICD584, HS-ECD477, HS-ICD477, HS-ECD374, HS-ECD271 and HS-ECD269. This cord part# HC-ZAL supersedes the previous part#’s HC-AAL and HC-AA as they are all interchangeable.
